Week 8, Term 2, 2014
Tonight students in the Travelwise team (Tavake, Alyssa and Liana), Whaea Barb and Miss Leona travelled to the Travelwise Celebration for 2014 at Eden Park. We were extremely surprised and PROUD to say we won two special awards:
- Outstanding Travelwise Lead Teacher &
- Contribution to Road Safety
We have also gained a SILVER award as a Travelwise School!

An amazing night! We had so much fun hearing 'Sylvia Park School' being announced for the BIG awards. Congratulations Miss Leona - Outstanding Travelwise Lead Teacher 2014! Congratulations to us all for winning the 'Contribution to Road Safety' award. Ka mau te wehi!
